Lake Tawakoni June 25, 2011 Tournament Results

The 7th TSA Tournament of the 2011 Season was held on June 25, 2011 on Lake Tawakoni.
There were 12 teams that participated in this 7th tournament of the 2011 season.
The fishing on Tawakoni has been excellent with good fish being caught over the last few months, but
tournament day turned out to be the exception. Although there were good fish caught and
most teams did catch fish it was more difficult then in previous days and weeks. Additionally,
the wind picked up, which may it a little more difficult, but as with all days fishing it was fun.
It was Team Piggy Perch that once again ruled the day by winning 1st Place with a total of
17.45 pounds and Big Fish, 8.73 pounds to win a total of $600.00. It should be pointed out
that Team Piggy Perch's small fish was 8.72 pounds. Team Piggy Perch also won the raffle for a set of
Wildcat Lights. I think Team Piggy Perch should also have gone out and bought some Lottery Tickets also!

In 2nd Place it was Team Czech Filet with a total weight of 12.12 pounds to win a total
of $336.00. Congratulations to Team Czech Filet!
In 3rd Place is was Team Shadzilla with a total weight of 10.64 pounds to win a total of
$144.00. Congratulation to Team Shadzilla
Come on out and join us for the next TSA Tournament on Lake Whitney on Ju1y 16, 2011. Three Stripers over 20 pounds and a 17 pounder were caught on Lake Whitney on June 24th. Lake Whitney has produced the biggest Stripers of the TSA Tournament Trail for the last 2 1/2 years. Multiple double digit Stripers have been weighed in at the last 5 Lake Whitney Tournamets. This tournament should not be any different.
Team Piggy Perch took the first place trophy and first place prize money of $400.00 with a total of 17.45 pounds. Congratulations Team Piggy Perch.
Team Piggy Perch also wins the Big Fish award and $120.000 with a 8.73 pound Striper. Congratulations Team Piggy Perch!!
