The 3rd TSA Tournament of the 2011 Season was held on March 19, 2011 on Lake Texoma. There were 10 teams that participated in this tournament.

The weather for the Texoma Tournament turned out to be excellent with about 10 - 15 mph winds, although at times it seemed the wind seemed to be a lot higher. The water temperatures were in the upper 50's and the air temperatures were in the high 70's with mostly clear skies with a few clouds. A great day for fishing!

It was Team Sharc Bait that took the top honor of 1st Place and a check for $400.00 with a total weight of 6.54 pounds. In 2nd place it was Team Piggy Perch with a total weight of 4.62 pounds. 2nd place earned Team Piggy Perch a check for $280.00. In third place and getting a check for $120.00 was Team Jaw Breaker weighing in a total of 4.24 pounds. Congratulations to Team Sharc Bait for winning the 3rd TSA 2011 Tournament Trail Tournament!

Team Sharc Bait also won the big fish prize of $100.00 for having caught the biggest fish of the day......3.34 pounds.

Most of the fish, if not all were caught on live bait. Most of the teams went west around the islands, but some teams also went up around the dam area. The fishing was slow with no team catching a lot of fish. The fish caught by at least one team were fairly shallow in 25 feet of water or less.

Come on out and join us for the next TSA Tournament on Lake Buchanan on April 16, 2011. It should be a good a time.!
