Lake Whitney July 10, 2010 Tournament Results

The 7th and final TSA Tournament of the 2010 Season was held on July 10, 2010 on Lake Whitney. There were
9 teams that participated. There was some fear that the Golden Algae may have had a big impact
on Lake Whitney, however, that was not the case. The 2nd 2010 TSA Tournament on Lake Whitney produced
the largest weigh-ins of the 2010 TSA Tournament Trail with many good fish. This is the second
year in a row that Lake Whitney has produce double digit fish for the weigh-ins. There were two fish caught
the weekend of July 10 that were over 10 pounds, a 11.96 pounder caught by Team Shearwater and
a 11.46 pounder caught by Team Family Style. There were also many other good Stripers caught that weekend.
When the tournament started, there were only 50 points separating the two leaders for the title of 2010
TSA Team of the Year, Team Hook Set and Team Piggy Perch.
Team Hook Set wasn't going to let that lead go and Team Piggy Perch was determined to close that difficult
but not impossible gap. At the end of the day, Team Hook Set held on to their lead and earned the title of
2010 TSA Team Of The Year. Congratulations to TEAM OF THE YEAR HOOK SET members, Darrell Nowlain
and Charles Howard.
Team Shearwater took the first place trophy and first place prize money with a total of 16.44 pounds. Congratulations Team Shearwater.
Team Family Style wins the 2nd Place Trophy with a total of 16.04 pounds. Congratulations Team Family Style!!
Team Piggy Perch wins the 3rd Place Trophy with a total of 13.12 pounds. Congratulations Team Piggy Perch!!
Team Shearwaterwins $90 for catching the biggest Striper of the Tournament with a 11.96 pound Striper. That Striper also earned Team Shearwater the BIG FISH POT for the 2010 TSA Tournament Trail. Congratulations again Team Shearwater!!
Team Chaos wins the $100.00 for catching the biggest Catfish. Congratulations Team Chaos!!
