BOY WAS IT HOT! But despite the heat, 12 teams showed up for the final tournament of the TSA 2011 Tournament Trail. As in the last 3 years, Lake Whiteny once again produced the heaviest weigh-ins of the season. Once again, the big fish of the season was caught in this final tournament of the 2011 season. Team Sharc Bait boated a 14.77 pound HAWG and a smaller 13.96 pound HAWG. They also had 4 other fish which were also double digit Stripers.

Besides the 6 double digit fish caught by Team Sharc Bait, there were also a few other double digit Stripers weighed in by some of the other teams and several 7 to 10 pound Stripers. Lots of big fish in this tournament. Lake Whitney is absolutely an outstanding Large Striper lake!

At the risk of sounding redundant, Team Sharc Bait once again appeared in the 1st place winner circle by weighing in a 13.96 lb Striper and a 14.77 lb Striper for a total weigh-in of 28.73 pounds. Not a bad catch for the day. Team Sharc Bait also caught 4 other double digit Stripers. They also won the Big Fish prize with the 14.77 lb Striper, which also earned them the prize for big fish of the 2011 TSA. Congratulations TEAM SHARC BAIT!

In 2nd place it was Team Half Randino weighing in a 7.76 pound Striper and a 10.01 pound Striper for a total of 17.77 lbs. Team Half Randino always manages to place in the top of every tournament they fish in. These guys know how to catch Stripers. Congratulations Team Half Randino!

In 3rd place is was Team Chaos weighing in a 8.60 pounder and a 8.81 pounder for a total of 17.41 pounds. Congratulations Team Chaos!
